An economical, entry-level manual microarraying system. Samples can be loaded from 96-well or 384-well plates using the 8-pin hand tool. The slide holder accommodates two slides. It has a built-in indexing system that enables precise printing of up to 768 spots in an array of 32 x 24 spots. It is designed for 1-pad Fast Slides with 20 x 51mm pad size and is compatible with other slides surfaces. The accessories can be used to increase the flexibility of the manual arrayer system by providing accurate source-plate indexing and reliable pin-tool cleaning. They are compatible with standard 96-well microplates and they reduce hassle with pin-tool cleaning.
The Chip Clip securely holds one Fast Slide and incubation chamber for processing multiple arrays simultaneously, ensuring leak-proof barriers around the arrayed pads on the slide. Compatible with 1" x 3" slides when used with incubation chambers. The Slide Holder is designed to hold up to four Fast Slides and their corresponding incubation chambers for high-throughput processing of microarrays. Constructed of autoclavable plastic and is compatible with standard 1" x 3" glass slides when used with incubation chambers.
The MultiRack(TM) is a newly designed tube support that can be used all around the lab. Although it is one of the most attractive racks available today, it offers all the advantages required by the modern laboratory. Made of highly resistant acetal, it will not shatter or stain in contact with most laboratory chemicals.
Made of polypropylene. Standard 96-well on center spacing of tubes offers a color coding system using colored interchangeable plastic grids. These are used as a support for the 1.2ml tubes. This unique grid stands on four legs and can be removed from the base of the box and placed on a lab counter as a self-standing support. It can also be placed in a refrigerator or freezer shelf for improved air circulation around tubes, or in a water bath to allow controlled warming of the tubes and their contents. Easy to read numbers and letters used on the box cover for sample identification are also shown on the support grids.
Designed in such a way that the 96-place rack, having a standard on-center spacing of tubes, also has a standard microtiter sized footprint. This rack is therefore suitable for use with robotics systems and for transferring liquids with multichannel pipettors and autosampling devices that conform to 96-well microplate systems. The same alphanumeric identification is used on the cover and white base. Ideal for HTLV-III testing, bacterial and hybridoma cell uptake studies, cell harvesting, pharmaceutical quality control, receptor binding assays, RIA and EIA.
